This morning, I woke up to a text message from a friend that read "Mia, you're going to love this. Your favourite song is now the new theme song for a movie." For a moment, I was stupefied. "My favourite song is now the new theme song for a movie" because it was a compilation of old sweet songs made in 2010. More than anything, I was so excited and so happy to hear the song again. I couldn't help but think "thank you" to this friend who had set out to surprise me with such an awesome gift. "Samet e keni thjesht një jetë për t'u humbur," I reasoned silently and felt immensely grateful and gratefulness that she had realised that it would be amazing for me, just the way it was. As always, I was hoping to have a perfect day ahead of me. Filmi "I Filmi" is the soundtrack for the Albanian movie "I Filmi" directed by Genc Glinojka. The movie is about an Albanian director who decides to shoot a movie in his village, but when he returns he finds his mother in front of him in a terrible state. This song "Mua Merr diçka" was composed in 1970 by Aldo Shllaku and was sung by Vula Malushi. The song is very short and straightforward with such a deep meaning that I still think about it. This song is definitely one of my favourite songs of all time.
I woke up in a happy mood and decided to be in love by myself. It was a good day, with a lot of sunshine in the morning with a lovely cup of coffee accompanied by the sweet melody in my head. I went to University in a good mood, with great expectations for my future life. In university, I had no classes but there were exams on that day, so when I was done, I told the boys that we should go to eat something with our friends from another university. We went to have lunch at the cafeteria where I had my favourite meal at that moment. The time just flew right through me, but I was enjoying every second. When we were finished eating, I decided to go to the beach with my friends because for days, these are the only thing that made me happy. We stopped by the supermarket on our way to buy some drinks for us and some sweets for us to devour once we were on the beach.
When I arrived home after a hard day's work, I realised it was time to revise everything because I had 3 exams in the morning and an exam in the evening too.
